One-to-one sessions help you to stay focused on how you move so that you get the best use of your time. Ideally you will also be doing some regular exercise in between your PT sessions, and I can help with that too so that you can fit in movement as part of your everyday life.

I offer home, outdoors or work-based personal training at a time that suits your lifestyle.

What does personal training involve?

shoulder bridgeThe content of your training sessions will vary around your needs. You will use a range of equipment & training techniques to ensure that you stay on track and we can incorporate a wide range of different styles of training to keep you mentally and physically engaged.

I will incorporate some soft tissue release work into your sessions where appropriate, and advise if I think that your body will benefit from a more in-depth massage treatment at any time.

One-to-one or with a friend?

Sessions can be one-to-one or shared with a friend/partner. Training individually gives a very direct focus on your needs. Training with a friend or partner is a great way to train, and more cost-effective, but you will both need to have similar goals in order for it to be successful.

We can discuss both options in more detail when we talk about your training needs.

Is it for me?

Personal training is perfect if you are training towards a specific goal, because every session will be ‘taylor-made’ for you – whether you want to improve your health on advice from your doctor, prepare for a fitness challenge or fit into your wedding dress.

Personal training is ideal if you have a busy lifestyle and struggle to get to timetabled classes. We can work around your commitments and find a time that suits you.

Personal training will give you support & keep you focused. Making lifestyle changes takes time and effort – the more support you have around you, the more you are likely to reach your goals.

We will start with an informal chat over the phone, and follow that up with an initial consultation to discuss training in more detail if you decide you’d like to.

You have a choice of a regular monthly payment and regular session times each week, or for more flexibility you might prefer to buy a block of sessions to be used as required. For the ultimate training package we can also add-on a regular sports massage treatment. We can talk over which you think will best suit your needs when we meet.
