What’s on in June 2026

Everything you need to know for June, safe in the knowledge that half term is behind us, we are done with bank holidays for a while and the days are longer & lighter, giving us more time to move & be outdoors…

Classes

The full class timetable is back – with just 2 exceptions…

I have a few days away at the end of the month so there will be no classes on Friday 26th June. Other than that, everything is running to schedule.

If you’re joining a class (online or in-person) when the weather is warmer than usual, please remember to wear lighter clothing and have plenty of water on hand. Pay attention to how you’re feeling and rest when you need to – don’t wait to be asked. And if you’re coming to WOW (Mondays at7pm) please bring a small towel so you don’t leave a trail of sweat behind you!!

Classes can be booked using the links below:

  • Strength & fitness classes can be booked here (weekly PAYG)
  • Functional Pilates classes can be booked here (half-term blocks and weekly PAYG)

Classes can be booked right up to the last minute before the start time, but I will need a completed health questionnaire if you are attending for the first time. I do not accept walk-ins or cash payment.

If you’re not sure about which of my classes is best suited for you, please get in contact to discuss – I’m happy to advise.

Guided walks

Early summer is a great time to get outside for a walk. The days are still getting longer and lighter, the weather is usually drier and warmer, there is much less mud underfoot and the trees, hedgerows and wild flowers look so good.

June is the ideal time to join a group walk if you are not sure where to go or want someone else taking care of the logistics. A good walk leader will also help you to manage your exertion levels and cope with the heat on very warm days, as well as sharing local facts and folklore for the areas you visit.

I am leading a few walks during June – details and links below:

  • Otford circular – Saturday 6th June – women-only. This is an Adventure Women UK walk covering 17km, with a few hills and some great views from the North Downs Way – details here
  • Canterbury to Sheperdswell – Wednesday 10th June. This is a linear walk (station to station) which makes up our next section of the North Downs Way. Our day will begin with a visit to the Pilgrim Office at Canterbury Cathedral where we can receive a pilgrim stamp & certificate, sign the pilgrim book and have a group photograph in front of the cathedral! Once we are official pilgrims, we will set off through Canterbury, heading to Shepherdswell, where we’ll catch the train back again. 19km of beautiful views on this historic route – details here
  • Faversham & Oare – Saturday 20th June – women-only. This is an Adventure Women UK walk covering 19km along coastal & estuary pathways with wide views across the surrounding marshlands – and barely any hills – details here

I have one more walk planned for June but haven’t set up the details yet – I’ll add them here soon.

Here’s to a beautiful June – not quite as hot as the end of May perhaps?!
