What’s on in May 2026

Everything you need to know for May, navigating the half-term break & not one but two bank holidays!

Classes

We’re back to our full class timetable for (most of) May

There are no in-person classes over half-term (25th-29th May) but online classes are still running that week.

NB classes ARE running as normal on the early bank holiday on 4th May so please join me or I’ll have an empty hall all to myself!

strength training for women

Classes can be booked using the links below:

  • Strength & fitness classes can be booked here (weekly PAYG)
  • Functional Pilates classes can be booked here (half-term blocks and weekly PAYG)

Classes can be booked right up to the last minute before the start time, but remember that I will need a completed health questionnaire if you are attending for the first time. I do not accept walk-ins or cash payment.

If you’re not sure about which of my classes is best suited for you, please get in contact to discuss – I’m happy to advise.

Guided walks

I am leading a few walks during May – details and links below:

  • Women’s Wellbeing Walk – Wednesday 13th May @ 9.30am – Linton Hill, Greensand Way & goats! (approx 8km / 5 miles) This is a out & back route starting and finishing at Linton church – expect some big views, deer & goats – details
  • Chilham to Canterbury (North Downs Way) – Sunday 17th May @ 9.30am (approx 13km / 8 miles). This is a linear #tracksandtrails route which takes us through some typical scenery for this part of Kent – orchards, pasture, arable fields, ancient woodlands and a few small villages. Along the way, we will pause to admire one of the art sculptures that make up the NDW Art Trail. The walk will take approx 5 hours, at a pace that is comfortable for the whole group, including a lunch stop and shorter rest breaks as needed – details
  • Linton to Yalding – Sunday 31st May @ 9.30am (approx 13km / 8 miles). This is a circular walk, starting and ending at Linton church. The outward section takes us along the Greensand Way with big views over the High Weald. Along the way, we will pass orchards, vineyards and a couple of pretty Kentish villages. The return route is mostly at a lower level so we can admire the Greensand Way from a different angle, returning back to our starting point with a gentle climb – details

You can find details & booking information for all my up-coming walks here

I am also be leading a late Bank Holiday hike for Adventure Women UK on Monday 25th May – details below:

  • starting in Lewes, we’ll head out for a rewarding “Big Day Out” in the South Downs, exploring rolling chalk hills, expansive ridge views and historic landmarks. This 19km / 12 mile circular route combines sustained climbs with some of the best panoramic scenery in the area – click here for details & booking

May is such a beautiful month to be outside. I hope to see you on one of these walks, enjoying a gentle nature-reset with me.

Here’s to a glorious (no-mow) May – let nature take over your garden for the next 31 days!
