What do I need to bring with me?

For every bootcamp session or exercise class you should bring:

  • a small towel
  • a suitable drink
  • any medication you might need, including your inhaler or GTN spray if you have one
  • please wear loose, comfortable clothing & suitable (clean) footwear

For Boxfit it is useful to have a pair of hand wraps. These can be bought very cheaply from me, from a sports shop or online. They help to protect your hands and they keep the gloves and pads clean for everyone else to use. If you don’t want to put your hands in sweaty gloves, make sure you are wearing hand wraps for every class! Email me if you want to buy these items from me.

For bootcamp sessions you might also want to bring a pair of gloves and you will need to think about suitable clothing and footwear – see below.

What happens if I can’t come to all the bootcamp sessions?

Some people may miss one or two sessions over the course of the month and this is taken into account in the competitive pricing – even if you can’t come to all your sessions you will still get excellent value for money. There’s an option to book the number of sessions you want per course so that you only pay for what you want & so you can be flexible about which days you attend.

I cannot give you a refund but if you do miss any sessions I will record them as a credit for you to use up the following month. You can use them for any of my bootcamp sessions or exercise classes.

Will the bootcamp session still run if it’s raining?

The bootcamp courses run as outdoor sessions all year round…because the benefits of exercising outdoors are HUGE. In reality we only get occasional wet days so it really isn’t a problem.

What happens if I can’t make it to all the classes in one month?

Classes are paid by monthly subscription so it’s in your interest to come to as many as possible. However, they are also competitively priced to give you great value for money even if you miss a session.

From a fitness perspective don’t worry too much if you miss one, I’ll just get you working harder next time!

Why can’t I pay for sessions separately instead of paying a monthly subscription?

It is difficult to change your lifestyle without making a commitment to your chosen activity. By offering subscriptions I am simply asking you to make a commitment to yourself and in return you will have my guaranteed commitment to you. With our combined efforts, you will achieve the results that you are looking for.

By booking your place, I can also ensure that there will be sufficient equipment (and space) for each session, which means that you will have a more enjoyable & successful fitness experience.

If you really want to reach your goals, you won’t mind making a short-term commitment. Please note with taylor-made fitness you are not tied in to a fixed-length subscription; it always a month-by-month option.

If you are already active and want to add taylor-made fitness classes on an as & when basis to supplement your existing routine you can now buy a block of 10 sessions – links are provided on the Bootcamp and Exercise Classes pages.

What happens over Christmas? 

Bootcamp sessions are scheduled to work around the Christmas period.

However, there will be some disruption to exercise classes. I will arrange a partial rebate (via Pay Pal)  for all class participants in December so you will only pay for the sessions which run.

What do I need to do if I decide to cancel my subscription?

Find the ‘booking details’ page (there are links at the bottom of the Bootcamp Courses, Exercise Classes & Personal Training pages) and use the ‘unsubscribe button’ which is located at the bottom. This will take you to your Pay Pal account to cancel your taylor-made fitness subscription.

Can I try a bootcamp session or class before I commit to a subscription?

Yes you can! Please email me to request a trial session. 

Can I bring a friend with me to try a session?

If you have friends or family visiting you from outside the area, and they want to join you in your usual class or session, I can arrange a guest pass for them.

There  will be a charge of £6.50 for each guest session which will be payable via Pay Pal. A health questionnaire will be required prior to participation. Please email me to arrange a guest pass.

If your friends are local and want to have a free trial session with a view to joining us regularly they can email me to arrange this.

Will my payment be secure?

Payments will always be processed via Pay Pal for your security and piece of mind. I will not have access to your payment details.

Do I have to have a Pay Pal account?

Anyone booking a subscription with taylor-made fitness will need to have a Pay Pal account, although your payment can be made using any credit/debit card. A Pay Pal account is easy to set up and full instructions are included after you select the ‘subscribe’ button.

If you are unhappy using Pay Pal, please contact me to make alternative arrangements.

Blocks of 10 sessions can be bought via Pay Pal, by cheque or cash.
