weekly update w/c 25th July
Good morning!
It’s been another busy, fitness-filled week but the weekend is here and I’m clocking off at 1pm today so that I can enjoy the sunshine – at least that’s the plan…!
I think it’s safe to say that all the children have now broken up for the school holidays but that doesn’t mean you have to hang up your fitness routine for the next 6 weeks:
- if you normally come to the 9am bootcamps, why not bring the kids with you – there’s loads of space and they will enjoy the fresh air as much as you
- if you prefer to leave them at home why not get out early and join the 6.15am sessions at DCPS
- organise a babysitter and come along to the 7pm super-circuits session on Monday evening
- if you really can’t get out to exercise – do it at home! follow the link below for my 30-minute workout that you can do anywhere
There’s no reason for your fitness to take a back seat during the holidays – just find a solution that works for you and stay focused on your longer-term goals.
ME questionnaire:
If you are trying to focus on weight loss and you’re not sure what and who to believe, this questionnaire (taken from ‘The Metabolic Effect Diet’) is a really useful tool.
Follow the link below and then email me with your ‘burner type’ – I will send you all the relevant information to help you make simple changes to your eating habits which will improve your fat-loss results.
The ME approach does not involve any calorie counting and there are no banned foods so it really is very simple to adopt this lifestyle and still feel like you can have a life!
Facebook reviews:
For those of you who use facebook, I’ve added a really great app to my tmfcranbrook page and I’d love you to use it…
When you visit my page (www.facebook.com/tmfcranbrook) you will be taken to the review page and you will be able to add your own review so that other people can see what taylor-made fitness is all about.
Please could you take a minute out of your busy schedule to check it out this weekend – I promise I’ll be super nice to you next week if you do!!
The week ahead:
6.15am bootcamp @ DCPS – on our new home on the Little Stream field so less time spent walking to the field and easy exit for a quick get away afterwards = even more effective bootcamp session!! (park in the first parking area just inside the main gate)
- Monday – last ‘week 4′ session so expect to sweat with high impact Tabata drills
- Wednesday – ME 9
- Friday – PHA conditioning
9am bootcamp @ Benenden – only 2 weekly sessions during the school holidays
- Monday – ME 16
- Wednesday – ME 17
7pm @ DCPS -
Super-circuits takes place in the sports hall (or outside if the weather is good) – follow the main drive and the signs for the sports hall and meet us there if you want to join the fun. The class is a cross between a bootcamp and a traditional circuit class so you can expect a whole-body workout which will set you up nicely for the week ahead…
If you’re off on holiday this week, I hope you have a fabulously restful & relaxing time. If you’re not on holiday this week, I hope to see you at some point…
