weeklyupdate w/c 20th June 2011

Welcome to this weeks update which is going out to all taylor-made fitness clients – hope my bootcampers don’t mind sharing?!

OMG – it’s been a really long week… lots of work going on at my house but I now have new lighting, new kitchen worktops, new bathroom taps, a bricked up fireplace in the lounge, half a new brick wall in the front garden and half a bin store in the back garden – plus the skills (?) to finish things off!! After a busy day with clients exhaustion finally took over & I crashed out at 4pm yesterday, slept until 8.30pm, got up to eat dinner, then went back to bed! So I’m feeling much more human this morning having crammed in 12 and a half hours sleep in one day (twice my normal quota!)

The Metabolic Effect team have also been busy this week uploading some great vidoes to You Tube so I’ve included one here which I thought might be of interest if you are trying to lose weight. I’ll add some more in coming weeks.

Bootcamp updates:

  1. it looks like we might have some more weather this week (Benenden was VERY wet yesterday!) so I would suggest that you bring a small towel with you in case the mats are wet…
  2. please try to buy yourself some dumbbells soon as you will get a better workout with them. I will be gradually reducing the number of body bars I carry around & I’d hate you to have an easy session! There are links here if you want to order from Amazon.

6.15am @ DCPS: = week 4 so expect to be pushed!!

  • Monday – Metabolic Circuit 4 with dumbbells
  • Wednesday – ME 4
  • Friday – High Impact Accumulator 4 (low impact options as required!)

9.05am @ Benenden: week 3 so you can also expect to be pushed!

  • Monday – CV 40/20
  • Tuesday – ME 3
  • Wednesday – Metabolic Circuit 3
  • Thursday – ME 7
  • Friday – Core Conditioning 3
  • 

And finally… I’ve been looking at the summer and have decided to run with the following dates:

Early Bootcamp:

  • July = 29th June-25th July (inc)
  • August = 27th July-22nd August (inc) – (NB this will be a full 4 weeks, not 3 as per my earlier email)
  • September = 5th-30th Sept (inc)

Mid-morning Bootcamp:

  • July = 4th-22nd July (inc)
  • August = I am happy to run Tues & Thurs ME sessions 26th July-18th August if there is sufficient interest? Please email me if you are interested in these. Anyone not wishing to attend during August will recieve a refund of their monthly payment when it hits my account.
  • September = 5th-23rd Sept (inc)

Super-Circuits:

  • there will be no session on Monday 29th August

Personal training:

  • I will not be available for any PT sessions 22nd August-4th September (inc) – payments will be adjusted accordingly
