Weekly update 10th April 2011

Good morning bootcampers!

I hope you are enjoying the weather this weekend – long may it continue. Wouldn’t life be great if we woke up to blue skies and sunshine every day?

I don’t want to sound like your mother but please make sure you wear sun cream to bootcamp now the sun is out…I got a little bit pink yesterday while training on ‘my’ field in Benenden at 9.30am! As we head towards summer, please also remember to wear light layers and bring plenty of water so that you can keep drinking throughout the sessions.

The 9am bootcamp sessions are now officially on holiday for the next 4 weeks but I have set up some extra session to keep you moving. If you haven’t signed up yet you will need to do so – as they are extra sessions they do not count as part of your usual subscription but I have set up payment links for you for either 1 session or 2 sessions in any one week.

Session dates are as follows:

  • Mon 11th April @ 9am
  • Weds 13th April @ 10.30am
  • Tues 19th April @ 10.45am
  • Fri 22nd April @ 10.45am
  • Mon 2nd May @ 9am
  • Weds 4th May @ 9am
    (see below for content of these sessions)

    (If you want to come to sessions in more than one week you will need to set up separate payments for each one; if you have already bought a block of 10 sessions you do not need to pay again – you can simply sign off your sessions as usual.)

So what’s in store at bootcamp this week I hear you ask?!

6am @ DCPS – this is week 3 of 4 so things are going to be a bit more challenging this week, but remember you can pace yourself and work at your own level in every session:

  • Mon = CV
  • Weds = Vertigo
  • Fri = Pear-shaped too!

Easter sessions at Benenden:

  • 11th April = CV & core
  • 13th April = Press ups & squats
  • 19th April = ME
  • 22nd April = Dr Who & vertigo
  • 2nd May = Lower body & core accumulator
  • 4th May = Metabolic Circuit
